nytimes essay

I entered an essay in response to an article written by Rick Perlstein about why college is no longer like it used to be during the Vietnam era. It is now posted on nytimes.com!

Ok...here I go...

1. I didn't know you had a blog! I recently had to create one for class and I kinda dig it, so I'm going to make a personal one during break for entertainment-y life observances. WORD.

2. I didn't know you were published in the new york times, or on its site at least! That is awesome! I read your article and totally agreed with everything you said. College isn't about "finding yourself" anymore, nor is it about sticking up for what you believe in, or "doing good" for the world around you. And your reasoning perfectly explains the changes. Good job, and congrats on the publishing.
